Who thinks most Podiatrists are a joke?

I had some foot sols made for my feet last year and they cost 700 bucks and did nothing to even remotly help me. I think you should beware going to these so called specialists. They need to be regulated.

My podiatrist is really great. However, I have not had much success with custom orthotics inserts and shoes with my foot problems. I think it has more to do with the manufacturer the insurance company chooses than anything else in my case.

They *are* regulated, just like MDs.
