If you are looking for an airsoft I'd think any 1911 format pistol would do. The Smith and Wesson pistol has only a few externally visible differences with an airsoft the internal workings are nothing like the real thing anyway.

Do a search on line. Lots of places carry airsoft guns. Here is a link to a page that has some:

Smith and Wesson has only recently introduced a line of 1911 style handguns, and new guns are not cheap.
40-60$ ? You gotta be kidding. Try 500-600$!
The closest thing you will find to a cheap 1911 would be the copies made by Star or Ilama. Count on paying at least 250$ for one of them in good mechanical condition but with a worn finish.

S&W 1911's are relatively new. And they are not cheap. You will be looking in the 600.oo$ range. A pawn shop might net you a little cheaper one, but I'm betting not. They haven't been around long enough for many to have been pawned yet. You might try looking for a different brand. They are pretty common at pawn shops. And if you have a Gander mountain or other gun shop in your area most have a variety of used guns for sale. Legitimate used guns I might add. I don't like the thought of buying a used gun without some verification that it isn't hot.

Smith and wesson 1911 are cheap...so do the math for yourself...40-60 bucks you are out of your mind.

No. If you can find any handgun for $40-60, you better put it in a vise, and pull the trigger with a VERY long string, because it's likely to blow up in your face. Either that, or it's so hot, it's gonna burn a hole right through your clothes. You better keep saving your allowance.
