There is a phenomenon known as AIDS dementia complex.
This is not a psychological reaction to the illness, or an opportunistic infection (e.g. toxoplasmosis), but is thought to be a direct result of the HIV (mainly HIV-1) itself acting on the brain.

You probably are okay. Remember to get a new FAFSA for next year and find out from the FA people if there are any hurdles to starting over and getting aid. Dropping out is not so uncommon to them. If you have cash left, conserve it.

it shouldnt bc its just a sexually tranmitted diesease, its just unhealthy to have that diesease. there is a book that i read i dont remember what its called right now but its about a baby who has aids and later on in the book it gets emotional... a baby sitter takes care of her till the end.
