There are diabetics in my previous generation. I wonder if sugar causes it or something else.

Genetics is a large factor in determining who is diabetes susceptible ,but sugar intake itself is not . High intake of sugar means high caloric intake however and if this leads to weight gain ,then that can lead to diabetes . Diabetes is a failure of an enzyme (insulin)to allow passage of sugar into the cell . Thus the sugar is not burned off and circulates at high levels in the blood stream . This faulty insulin effect can be caused by insufficient production by the pancreas (genetic?) ,or by the peculiar insulin resistance that some overweight patients develop

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Let me put it this way.. you could eat sweet stuff all day and not get diabetes.... However, if you are a likely candidate you need to get your eating habits in control now. Being overweight can definitely cause you to develop diabetes and cause many other health risks. Usually, if it is going to happen it is going to happen, but by eating a lot of sweet stuff is not going to help matters.. it will only make them worse! My grandmother developed diabetes I think in her 20's and was overweight... my great grandmother was never really overweight and didn't develop it until she was in her 70's or so. I think weight has a lot to do with increasing your chances, but being thin doesn't protect you either...

Sugar won't cause you to become diabetic but it will aggravate symptoms if you are diabetic.

Diabetes is mainly caused by genetics and being overweight.

No. That's a myth.

It's a disorder of the pancreas.

My grandparents had it. They weren't typical diabetics - they weren't obese. My grandmother got it after she had the flu.
