If a person were to fornicate with a dead person who had AIDS would they get AIDS? Or do aids die when the host dies? Or maybe there is a time limit. Just watching nip / tuck, not thinking about doing it by the way. Just wondering.

I'm going to assume that you really are just curious and NOT into necrophilia....

AIDS is a actually a very fragile virus so I'm not sure how that would work. Look at it this way though -- you wouldn't want to use a needle from someone who had HIV/AIDS for fear of infection. I'm not sure that "injecting" anything else would be much different.

Also though, since it is a blood born pathogen and many people still like the idea of embalming and burial upon death, the lack of blood (due to formaldehyde) may prevent infection. No blood...no virus.

Do you have a significant other that's dead and you want one more shot for old times sake? Try it and let us know if you've lost a great deal of weight in about five years. I'm sure all the necrophiliacs out there need this answered.

i dont think so because aids is a virus and a virus needs a host to survive. so if the host dies then so will the aids

over ten years ago
some lab out of the USA had been closed for about 5 years, and one day they had to go and get some equipment out of the lab, one of the scientist saw some blood that had been left there, it was all dried up and of course over 5years old, just for the heck of it he grabbed it and brought i back to the new lab to test it, and guess what they found in the old DRIED out blood, yep...they found the AIDS virus in that blood....why you say does not the governments tell us more, because they fear w world wide panic and a killing spree from scared people....and they have tested the dried blood and some times it has nothing but DNA in it and other times all kinds of stuff and they do not know why this is, but for the most part, they find nothing, but do you really want to take that chance? I know I would not...

good luck

It's possible if the fornicator came into contact with bodily fluids or tissues.
