You know crabs, I will say after about 1-2 days after sex with an infected person. There is intensive itching in the hairs of the vaginal or penal areas. You can also look into the hairs and pull a few up a see the crabs attached right under the hair folicle. You will also notice white little eggs in the hairs. Go see a doctor, they have medication that gives immediate relief.

If you have crabs, you'll know b/c they will itch and you can actually see the crabs moving.

If you have herpes you will know b/c there will be blisters on your genital area that will either itch or hurt. The only real sure way to know is by going to the doctor.

Becareful b/c if you have herpes you may also have a UTI so, you really should go in and see a doctor.

If your private down there starts to burn uncontrollably and you can see sores and blisters, it's genital herpes and you need to see a doctor and they will give a test to be sure and antibiotics to help it heal. Your first outbreak normally will last 1 to 6 weeks and it is very painful. If you have painful cold sores, then you may have herpes type 1 and again, you need to see a doctor. I'm not sure how to tell you about the crabs thing.

first off with herpes you wont know untila bout 7-10 days after contact. your genital area will be sore and itchy, you will notice a sore similar to a cancre soar that people get in their mouths. it will be painful during urination and. it ususally appears on outside and some also appear on the inside. to be totally sure, you need to go see your nearest dr. crabs, you will have severe genital itching, in the pubics, shave your hairs if possible, look closely and you will see little bugs that look like crabs. they are real tiny. the itching comes from them clinging to your skin and sucking your blood. go to your dr also to get checked. they will prescribe a special wash or ointment for this std. last but not least, wear protection at all times when u are sexually active.

Herpes simplex viruses (human herpesviruses 1 and 2) commonly cause recurrent infection affecting the skin, mouth, lips, eyes, and genitals. Common severe infections include encephalitis, meningitis, neonatal herpes, and, in immunocompromised patients, disseminated infection. Mucocutaneous infections cause clusters of small painful vesicles on an erythematous base. Diagnosis is clinical; laboratory confirmation by culture, PCR, direct immunofluorescence, or serology can be performed. Treatment is symptomatic; antiviral therapy with acyclovir, valacyclovir, or famciclovir is helpful for severe infections and, if begun early, in recurrent or primary infections.
Lice can infect the scalp, body, pubis, and eyelashes. Head lice are transmitted by close contact; body lice in cramped, crowded conditions; and pubic lice by sexual contact. Symptoms, signs, diagnosis, and treatment differ by location of infestation.
