a dissolvable cold medication (such as alka-seltzer cold remidies). Dissolve them in water as directed, and gargle with every mouthful before swallowing. I just recenly got over a severe sore throat and that was the only thing that kept it from hurting! It's not meant for sore throats, but oddly it works so much better than those throat sprays or lozenges! Also gargling with salt water will help kill bacteria - and keep topped up with zinc vitamins to prevent further sore thoats and colds during flu season!

Sore Throat?? Just mix 1/4 cup of vinegar with 1/4 cup of honey and take 1 Tablespoon six times a day. The vinegar kills the bacteria.

I mix 50/50 apple cider vinegar with water the hotest I can stand it, and gargle with it. Every hour or so, it kills bacteria, and also soothes you throat. Really helps the pain, taste like crap, but it works.

If you have a fever, white patches on your throat, or you've had it more than 4 or 5 days, go to the doctor.

Good luck, hope you feel better.
