I just found a tupperware container that must have fallen out of my lunch bag quite a while back and I didn't find until now. I opened it up and it had the most pungent thickest black mold in it. I am guessing it was some type of bread but I honestly don't know. Stuff made me cough like crazy and my nose kinda burns now. Is this something that will go away or should I be really concerned? I heard some story a while back about some guy that ended up with serious nose damage from moldy bread and that is worrying me a bit. I sprayed around the house with Lysol and I am hoping that is enough.

The lysol won't help at all with the mold spores in the air. Try airing your house out if it is really bad, most mold damage comes from long term exposure. If you start to feel short of breath though you could be having an allergic reaction. It wouldn't hurt to take an antihistamine just to be on the safe side.

No, you're going to be okay. If you have any saline solution (Ocean), spray your nose and wash your hands and clothes and forget about it. I assume you put the stuff in the outside trash.

ANY mould can be dangerous... it sounds like you did the right thing, .......... you did what you could to get rid of it, and I hope that you DID throw the stuff away in an outside canister.
