I have 3 vaginal bumps they do not look like a pimple rather raised from under the skin. I am 13 weeks pregnant & can not get into to see my OB until Thursday. I am super concerned I have been in a strictly monogomus relationship for 5 years. I have no itching burning pussing etc. I do have a bit more vaginal discharge than normal. Any advice, links etc would be greatly appreciated. This is a serious question...serious answers only , please!
Thanks in advance

The bumps are not on the area in which you shave, so I dont think it is razor burn. They are bigger too. Like the size of a eraser ontop of a pencil, they just do not stick out much.

I said before I am not itchy, god people dont answer if you are going to be rude. Also I am sure my partner is monogomus & all research I have seen says genital warts look like cauliflower not smooth.
I tried to go to a walk in clinic but because I am pregnant & this is not life threating they would do not vaginal exam.

No, sounds like razor bumps. They come from irritation to that area when that area goes through a drastic change. You may get these when you shave or wax incorrectly. If you shave never go against you hair, go in the direction your hair grows. You should know that that area is very sensitive. They have special lotions or powder for after you remove hair. Also you may want to try cream hair removal. Better yet, down remove so much hair. Keep cut close but not bare. I would give it a rest until they go away.

Hormones do wacky things to you when you are pregnant. My hair went from curly to straight. You are going to your OB so that is good. I had the same thing when I was pregnant. I thought it was herpes or some other STD and was mortified. It was nothing other than a little bump. The OB did tests. Told me it was normal and could also be brought on by stress and hormones. I think you'll be fine.

You will have more discharge then normal in your pregnatcy so that itself is just normal and nothing to be concerned about . They could be ingrown haris maybe . Do you suspect your partner cheating ?? If not then I wouldn't be concerned . If so just go down to your local womens clinic and get it checked out though by the time you recieve the results your ob appointment will be real near so personally I would just wait to see your doctor . It is probably nothing at all .

They could be cysts. Do they feel like tiny little rubber balls and roll between the layers of your skin? That's what mine feel like, and I've had them checked and they're just cysts. Mine are worse with bad periods. They come and go and they're affected by hormones.

I'd say the discharge is just the usual pregnancy issues, and if you have cysts, they're fed by the extra hormones as well.

They're annoying, sometimes painful, rather unpleasant to look at and touch, but benign. Bring it up at your next appointment, but don't go in for a special one--I'm sure with regular pregnancy checkups, you'll be covered as far as monitoring problems.

Pls. don't waste anymore time doing self diagnose it may very well be a disease that is now starting to show itself. Especially, since your body is taking change/ it could be herpes as the others suggested. And, a lot of time that disease hides out (for yrs.) & then rear its ugly head & disappear again.
Alot of physcians hesitate to give the test because of cost -the test is real expensive/may not be covered by ins.(& symptoms may not be present).
But in your case u r pregant & u have symptoms. Make an appt. A.S.A.P. and see whats going on, u need the proper care to insure your baby's health.
I hope its just nothing but pls. get checked.

hpv-warts are well known to flare up during pregnancy. you probably had the virus all along as it is fairly common (some say up to 70-80% of adults have it!) talk to the dr but it won't hurt the baby. at worst, if they don't shrink up again, they may bleed during delivery.

human papilloma virus - some types are also known as genital warts. you can get the hpv virus from any sexual partner. you could have gotten it more than 5 years ago and just now have symptoms. also, are you sure your partner is monogamous?

I do not think they are anything serious but if you are concerned then go to urgent care and have them checked out. These are the kind of things that urgent care centers are designed to deal with.
