I am an EMT so i might get a little indepth but might help with explaining it. First off That is a GREAT blood Pressure. A little bit better than mine lol. Now for the technical stuff. The blood pressure is the measurement of the pressure of your blood in your arteries. The Measurement is in mmHg or Millimeters of Mercury(old days there was a tube filled with mercury that did the reading of the pressure like a thermometer). The top number or Systolic, is the pressure of the blood in ur artery when the heart contracts or pumps the blood out to the body. The bottom number or Diastolic is the pressure left in the artery when your heart relaxes and refills. 120/80mmHg is usually regarded as a good average number. the higher it is the harder your heart is having to work and that is eventually a bad thing. Also the closer your numbers are means that the heart either is not pumping very hard or that it is not relaxing completely. Both of these condiitions are very serious and require evaluation and treatment as appropriate by your doctor. However 120/60 is Excellent BP. Sorry if i got long winded but theres the answer for you.

This is a really good blood pressure. People who have bad blood pressure aim for 120 over 60. You're very healthy and lucky!

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

It means you have good blood pressure. They systolic (top number 120) measures the pressure of blood on the inside of your arteries when the heart is contracting. The lower number (60) measures the pressure of the blood against your arteries when the heart is not contracted. 120/60 is good. Average blood pressure is 120/72.

It could be because you're very healthy. Seriously. It happens a lot in people who practice sport regularly. And it's not a problem unless you have symptoms of low pressure.
