Impaired Glucose tolerace:
Two-hour glucose levels of 140 to 199 mg per dL (7.8 to 11.0 mmol) on the 75-g oral glucose tolerance test. A patient is said to be under the condition of IGT when he/she has an intermediately raised glucose level after 2 hours, but less than would qualify for type 2 diabetes mellitus. The fasting glucose may be either normal or mildly elevated."
"*** Impaired Glucose Tolerance (IGT) means you have some problems with your sugar processing, but you don't (yet) have full diabetes. It is almost a "pre-diabetes" disease and seems very similar to a very mild form of Type 2 diabetes. ***

The impaired glucose tolerance means that you are having difficulties getting rid of sugar from the blood, usual due to insulin problems. This is the same thing that happens to people with diabetes but they are even worse at getting rid of sugar from the blood. Your almost diabetic state can change over to full blown diabetes unless you take the advice of dieting and maybe even medications. It can just as easily just be a fluke and never develope into anything else. I would take it as a red flag since you are better safe then sorry.

Impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) is indeed a pre-diabetic state, associated with insulin resistance and increased risk cardiovascular pathology. IGT may precede type 2 diabetes mellitus by many years.
It is characterised by an oral glucose tolerance test with an intermediately raised glucose level after 2 hours, but less than would qualify for type 2 diabetes mellitus. The fasting glucose may be either normal or mildly elevated.
The risk of progression to diabetes and development of cardiovacular disease is greater than for Impaired fasting glycaemia
Good luck to you!

If its so close that you are getting conflicting opinions, you would be wise to treat it as diabetes Look at it as a wake up call. You have the opportunity to take some preventive steps to avoid problems in the future. The worst that can happen if you take control now is a better outcome. If overweight. lose it and keep it off.Stay away from bread and pastries.Drink diet drinks&see a diabetes specialist if you can.If not,go to the libriay and learn how to eat and live healthier.

It won't be able to be substituted. notwithstanding, now and again they have orange fairly. I had a decision between cherry, lemon and orange after I did mine. all of them flavor poor. yet they could't do a replace because the glucose in the answer has been heavily measured. Coke has 'about' a particular volume of sugar. Plus they don't favor some thing so a ways as different chemical compounds to in any respect replace the outcomes. after all, only chug it down and manage it truly is the in trouble-free words suggestion i will provide you with. they gained't provide help to replace for certain.
