i was about wash bed sheets and found that one of those sheets was wet. I don't know what the liquid was but if it is semen or vaginal secretions from an infected person who has HPV or Herpes, can you get it if you touch their secretions with your hands (what if their genitals were rubbing on those sheets)? and what if you washed you hands after an hour after that incident, can you still get HPV or Herpes? and how long does HPV or herpes survive in air?

it would be unlikely to contact something that has been in the air, but not impossible, you should be wearing protective gloves while doing any type cleaning or touching things that people have come into contact with,,,,,, your workplace should provide these, if not go to a medical supply store and pick up a box of them

HPV/Herpes comes from skin contact. You should still wear gloves to avoid other diseases like the plain old "yuckies."
