Off-beat theme parties, encouraging people to come in costume (Expendable Movie Extras, Adult Slumber Party, Wear Anything but Clothes, Favorite 19th Century American Author, Favorite Mental Disorder).
Have a wine/beer/tequila/whiskey (not at the same party) tasting (everybody brings their favorite or something exotic).
Have everybody bring a food from their kitchen and try to cook something good from it all.
Show the Rocky Horror Picture show.
Have a bad movie/MST3K night.
A party game night (boccie ball and egg toss get very interesting after a few drinks, put fun 'grown up' prizes in the pinata)
Trivia pursuit or other board games

When in college we used to have boat races. two teams or 4 people line up on two sides of a table. 8 cups of beer are laid out.
the #1 guy chugs a beer. As soon as #1 puts the empty cup on the table #2 chugs a beer. #4 is the turn guy and chugs 2 beers in rapid succession. Then #3, Then #2, Then #1.

lets see there....their a typical liau...girls in bikinis, a grafatti party (everyone wears white and brings a marker), beer pong, flip cup, kings, lots of card games, ghetto parties, pjs parties, underwear parties, toga parties.....make jungle juice....theirs recipies online all over.
as you can tell i've been in college for a while and have heard all of them.

make it a theme....like toga....hawaiian night....white thrash night.( make trash can punch in the bathtub) have a raffle....sell tickets at the door for prizes
