Can they eat Frosties/Ricicles - sugar-coated cereal, cakes, doughnuts, biscuits, sweets/chocolate. What changes do they have to make to their diet?
What happens if they have to much - is it hypoglycaemia?

Too much suger Is HYPERglycaemia, HYPO is low. You can eat sugary cereals but you have to be very careful to eat only very small amounts. Its really best to avoid them and eat more healthy options.
A good eating plan for diabetics is the GI Diet by Rick Gallop. It was originally designed for diabetics and keeps blood glucose levels stable;

I think it's best for you to consult with a dietician who can make up a diabetic diet. You don't say whether the person is a child and has diabetes type 1 or an adult with type 2 diabetes. It matters.

I'd also consult both the juvenile diabetes association, if it 's a chld you're asking about and your pediatrician, if it's an adult , then again your family doc and the diabetes association in your areas. There are classes in nutrition the various diabetes associations will give you and in Ontario at least they are free.

DEPENDING ON DIABETIC 1 OR 2 AND IF THEY HAVE CONTROL OF THEIR SUGAR LEVELS ,ALL THE STUFF MENTION IS A NO NO BUT THEY CAN HAVE ONE ONCE IN A WHILE

These items you mentioned are to be avoided. The term for high blood sugar is Hyperglycemia.
