Is it really true that the good ol' boys may have found a gene triggered to cause STD's?

STD's are caused by bacteria, viruses, and protozoa and have been around much longer than the good 'ol boys. They might have a cure they're holding out on though.

I DOUBT IT BECAUSE THERE ARE OVER 300 SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES YOU CAN GET!!!!!
