First of all, the calories of the bread are not all you should be considering. The fiber content is just as important. The higher the fiber, the slower your body will be able to digest the bread, making it have a slightly lower glycemic index.

To summarize: If you must eat bread (vegetables are better) make sure it is whole wheat with high fiber.

Don;t know however i think the best bread for diabetics is that low gi bread, warbutons make it
