according to my psychology of sex book wich is the 2006 edition the average male penis is anywhere from 2 - 5 inches erect.. if the book is right then more men are technically on the above average side of things.. girth according to this book is 2-4 inches.. that's what the book says so take it for what it's worth

What Determines Penis Size
Penis size is determined by genetics. Penis growth starts between the ages of about 10 to 14 years of age, although some boys are younger, some older. The testicles begin to enlarge first and hair grows in the pubic region. The penis then grows in length and later in girth. Average penis size for the mature non-erect adult is between 3 to 4 inches. Teenagers have to wait one or two years after they have stopped growing in height before they will be able to know their final penis size.

This process of normal penis growth can be disturbing to many males. Since the testicles enlarge first (and later followed by growth of the penis), many young male teens do not notice the testicles growing and worry that they are not changing and that their penis is too small. If you are overweight, fat tissue can hide the penis somewhat and give an impression that the penis is smaller than it really is. Some males in your class may have started their changes of puberty well ahead of you and they may seem like they have an adult-size penis-that can be very upsetting! It is difficult to know how large a penis will be in its erect state, simply by looking at it when not erect (or when flaccid).

Donot be obsessed with the size, beleve me It just does,nt matter to your partner. The size varies a lot and the average size
of an erect penis is about 4 to 7 inches.

From my experience normal is around 4 inches some bigger some smaller, but it is not the length of the wand that counts it's the magic within, remember that.
