Did she stop taking her hypertensive meds right before surgery? Patients are kept "nothing by mouth" prior to surgery, so depending on whether or not her doctor ordered intravenous blood pressure medications, she may not have had her medication. Or she could be in pain. Acute pain causes a rise in the blood pressure.

The most logical cause of her high blood pressure after surgery for a known hypertensive patient is pain. The other cause I can think of is that since the patient was put on fasting prior to the procedure and was not given anti-hypertensive medication. If patient is in pain, ask the doctor to give the patient pain relievers. If the patiet is already allow to take anything orally, ask the doctor if the patient can take her medications and if not, ask the doctor if something can be given to the patient through the IV to lower the patient's BP.

The decision is your mother's but I would opt for the surgery. She could possibly discuss the option af a lumpectomy with her oncologist, this may be a viable alternative in her case. I would be wanting scientific proof before I put my trust in herbal remedies, either that or be at a point where Dr's are saying there is nothing further they can do. I have yet to hear anything other than anecdotal evidence for herbal cures. If she goes down the herbal remedy track she may find that by the time she gives up on this and returns to the oncologist they are unagle to treat the spread of her cancer. Chances of recovery after mastectomy are high, if treatment starts early.

Hi, my name is Christian Goodman
I’m well-known in the health field as a natural health researcher.
My articles have been published on several thousand websites as well as many off-line health journals.
In this letter, I’ll share my story of how I accidentally stumbled onto this method that quickly and naturally lowers high blood pressure after having suffered life-threatening hypertension for years.
What I discovered was so easy, so simple yet so powerful that it led me to create a program . . . that helps more than 88.7% of those who use it to normalize their blood pressure – usually within a week.
"I am delighted with the results with your blood pressure prog, I’ve dropped from around 146/90 to today’s reading 122/74."

"I believe this is magic. I got your program yesterday and already I feel better. I go back to my Doctor today. She will be happy for me. I really hope to get off this medicine. The side effects will kill you. I slept all night after doing the evening excerize. Thank you so much."
