I did a search on "a list of beauty products not tested on animals", the first site on my list is from that search. Then I did a search on "beauty products not tested on animals", and the sites on the rest of my list are from that search(the last site on the list is from the U.S. Humane Society). Hope it helps")

I agree with your daughter, I won't use products that are tested on animals either, I just don't think it is right for an animal to be abused and tortured just to put color on my face, I wouldn't feel good about myself. Your daughter sounds like a very caring girl. You can go on www.peta.com and they have a link where you can get a free booklet with lists of all products that are not tested on animals, I keep one with me all the time. Bonne Bell cosmetics does not test on animals and they have great products, St.Ives doesn't test either but they don't sell makeup they mostly have soap type products. If you go to the store just look on the back of the packaging on products and it will say that this product has not been tested on animals.

It is very rare to find actual makeup in stores that do not test on animals.
http://veganstore.com
http://veganessentials.com
Also, if you live near a health food market, they are likely to carry at least some of the same makeup brands as these sites.
Both of these sites have cruelty-free makeup. Your daughter can know that not only do they not test on animals, but they also do not use animal body parts to make them.
Before you buy these you may want to go to a cheap or outlet store (or find makeup on clearance) so you can find out what colors she likes best on her face.
I understand not wanting to contribute, but if they are in a clearance bin, the companies wont be making much of any money off the deal. Makeup can be expensive and you do not want to buy a bunch of stuff she will never wear.

im sure body shop does not test on animals
The Body Shop, a leading name in skin care and hair care products has been one of the patrons of the cause and has been promoting the concept of cruelty-free testing by encouraging the development of alternative tests. According to Mr Brenden Coote, retail and marketing operations manager, the Body Shop, Dubai, "The Body Shop is committed to the cause and is trying its best through various worldwide campaigns aimed at creating consumer awareness to eradicate the inhuman practice."
In developing its products, The Body Shop uses ingredients with a history of safe human use and naturals like bananas and Brazil nut oil. These ingredients are subject to non-animal tests such as micro-biological analyses using computer modelling and the products are developed using controlled testing on carefully monitored groups of human volunteers. It became the first cosmetic manufacturer to impose a restriction on its ingredients-suppliers based on the history whether that supplier had tested the ingredient on animals to sell to The Body Shop.

three cheers for this idea! i like her views a lot.
most cosmetics that are not tested on animals say so right on the bottle, so i'd say just look for the fine print! the other answers for companies are great, but also the very-popular-with-teens Bonnie Bell line.
