How do you test for these, is there a standard lab test for each???
What's the normal reading for them. What is consider too high or too low?? If its too low, will it be consider as a disease as well??? I like to pinpoint the normal for these two terms.

also, before going in to have your lipids tested be sure to be fasting so as to have a true reading and the tests won't be higher. you don't want you levels over 200 if they are they are going to tell you to stay away from fried, fatty foods to help lower your cholesterol

You test for these by testing your blood. If your cholesterol is over 200 it is too high. I have never heard of too low. Triglycerides I am not sure of. Just type in on search and see what you come up with

if you do a Lipid Profile , cholesterol and is subfractions (LDL, VLDL, HDL) , and Triglycerides will be checked

first they draw blood, then they send it to the lab, then they tell you it's too high, then they tell you you have to take prescription medicine forever or you will die horribly
