caffeine is a vasodialator which opens the bronchi in the lungs and creates a fluid shift...if you have excess phleem in there it can cause you to cough

No...unless you are alergic to the caffeine...but even then I would question that...You might be alergic to something that is in the coffee.

I drank Mt Dew for years as the only form of liquid ingested...never had a problem...Drink coffee and tea all the time too...

everybody's body reacts differently to substances. If you have a chrolc cpugh, get to the doctor! Tuberculosis is on the rise again, compliments of all the people from the middle east immigrating to the western world.

I drink caffeine like a drug addict.. Sometimes I go dayz without water just drinking Diet Mountain Dew.. and we all know how much caffy MD has...
and I have never had a chronic cough.
