While we have identified HIV and SIV (simian immunodeficiency virus -- in other great apes), I don't think we have seen any evidence yet of BIV (Bovine immunodeficiency virus)....but that doesn't mean that it's not out there.

This virus seems to be mutating, and spreading throughout all mammals, although it would not likely be able to be spread between species......as each species is infected by a different mutation.....

I doubt it. Even the animals normally don't get a lot of diseases that originate and spread from human filthy practices.
