You would only know if you were getting unusual heartbeats or a very fast or slow pulse. Otherwise you will be blissfully unaware of whats happening in your heart!;

Really, if you can exercise without getting breathless, are a nice pink healthy colour and don't have any chest pain or dizzines you are pretty much ok.

If you feel unwell or look grey or blue or get out of breath easily you ought to get checked out by a doctor.

Basically treat your heart with respect, follow a healthy diet, do some exercise and bear in mind any family history of heart. disease. And if you are concerned get checked out at the first opportunity

Blood pressure and heart rate only give limited amount of info and if you don't know what to do with those numbers or take them out of context then they are worse than useless.

If you feel ok, and look ok, then chances are you are ok!

Well, if it's really bad you might find you have an above average heart rate. Measure your pulse as you rest, it should be between 60 and 100 beats per minute depending on how fit you are. But if you're really worried about it you should see a doctor asap.

Heart condition at the moment is a better way to express it. We are all getting older and the body does not come with a warranty. If we live long enough, we will all have heart problems.

Look at the palm of your hand while kinda flexing your fingers back. Do you see alot of red spotting? If so, then you have a family history of heart trouble.

You should go into the doctors for a cholesteral test.

If u r in the UK then buy a blood pressure monitor from Lloyds chemist for £9.99 and the perfect pressure is 120/80 or close. If u r somewhere else get a similar thing? my friend had a stroke and now monitors his own pressures every day.

I imagine if you can jog a few hundred yards or walk several miles without getting out of breath too much may be a good indicator. But really you should check with a doctor.
