Question:
I know that eggs have alot of cholesterol, but is it really harmful to eat one day?

Answer:
The American Heart Association's new guidelines now permit an egg a day, rather than only three a week. Over the years there has been considerable debate whether eggs in the diet contribute to elevated plasma cholesterol levels and heart disease risk, or whether this is just an overly simplistic view equating dietary cholesterol with plasma cholesterol. However, The April 21st issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA1999;281:1387-1394) [1] reports a study by Hu and colleagues from the Harvard School of Public Health which found no relationship between egg consumption and cardiovascular disease in a population of over 117,000 nurses and health professionals followed for eight to fourteen years. In other words, as long as you eat them in moderation it is alright to eat eggs. Hope this helps.

Probably nothing, eggs are good for you. There used to be drive on TV urging people to "Go to work on an egg", meaning eat at least one a day. If the eggs are really rich though, such as those from a duck you may get a little constipated, so be sure to eat enough fiber too.

Eggs are good for you, it's how you cook them that adds fat. They are now saying that if you eat eggs for breakfast, it can help you lose weight. I fry eggs with a cooking spray or in canola oil. These are the 2 healthiest ways to fry eggs. I also will scramble with 2 eggs and 2 Tablespoons of milk and cook in microwave (1 minute per egg). The protein in eggs is good for you and important if you are dieting, you can't lose weight properly without enough protein in your diet. Happy eating!

Eggs are a pretty well balanced food. Cleanliness is a bit of a problem, we recommend they be well cooked.

You might increase your risk for a heart condition slightly, but not much besides having painful and horribly smelly gas.
