High BP does not mean you cannot exercise! In fact gentle exercise will help it go down, obviously not hard gym workouts but she should do regular walking.
Get a copy of the book "The GI Diet by Rick Gallop". Its a great diet for diabetics and along with exercise and regular blood testing at home your mum will soon get things under control.
I have high BP, high cholesterol and was diagnosed diabetic almost 7 months ago and I also have arthritis of the spine! I have lost 5 stone on the GI Diet since I was diagnosed and feel almost human again! lol;
Losing weight will also help the sleep apnoea;

The best thing she can do is watch her diet and walk. Walking is great exercise. Even if she's just walking around the house at first. Get her a cane or a walker if she has trouble with balance. My mom also has high BP and Diabetes and this is how she got her's under control. Also a lot of hosptials offer free diabetes counseling and offer a lot of suggestions for diet and exercise that will help you and your mom know how to care for her illness. Good luck to you both.

Try reflexology. There is an excellent book called Reflexology a step by step guide by Anne Gillanders. It is about £13 and has such clear pictures that you can teach yourself, and she can treat herself too. Consult your GP, because diabetics have to be careful as their skin damages easily, and because of her medications. You may find she feels very ill the day after treatment as a result of clearing out all the toxins.
Reflexology will help with all the conditions, but if your mother is on insulin, she should avoid the adrenal glands on the foot or hand.

Drink plenty of water, eat healthy foods and do stretching exercises while sitting down, but slowly so she won't have arthritis pain. Maybe go on walks around the neighborhood only as far as she is able to or purchase a tredmid and set it on a slow setting so she can walk on it. Before and after exercising massage her legs and arms so she won't cramp up or have any pain.

It does sound like she needs to lose weight as these are conditions are all due to being overwieght as your body is under too much stress. Maybe she should start eating little and often, healthy meals to keep her blood sugar under control then begin to take some gentle exercise i.e a gentle stroll or a swim. Analgesia will keep her arthritic pain under control so hopefully she will be able to do something to help her with the problems she is suffering with. Maybe you could help to keep her motivated by joining her. Good luck. These are conditions that can be lived with if kept under control:-)

I am amazed at your GP for making a remark like that. The fact she is taking lots of medication and is overweight does not automatically render her liable to heart attacks. I thought Gps where suppose to encourage people not frightn them to death. Eat healthily and get any exercise that you can. Any is better than none.

Your mom should do the Paleolithic way of eating.
I normally advise sprints, but being as bad off as she is with the blood pressure I would say she should do 90 minute walks 3 times a week in 30 minute intervals
heavy Omega 3 fish oil supplementation.- 4 pills a day do it everyday
*buy omega 3 supplements
*walk 90 minutes 30 minutes break 30 minutes break 30 minutes
WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT EAT LOW FAT
