Something good for a 16 year old. I'm 16 and making a dinner for my boyfriend, so what's some good music that will be romantic, but not over the top? (possibly something that we can slow dance to as well)

Ok here i come to your rescue, if you don't have it already, look on google & download the file sharing program Ares. Now, get as much Thievery Corporation as you possibly can, the genre is called Ambient Lounge, it's like music for our generation, very chill, yet makes you think & full of emotion, color, & shape. It is music that they would play in a place like this http://www.tabulv.com/gallery_inside_pop_6.asp very relaxing/romantic, but just the right amount of it. Some more good selections are Cafe Del Mar, Buddha Bar, Baby Mammoth, & If you have winamp (just the best music program in the world [ www.winamp.com ] u can listen to the shoutcast radio station somafm, plays ambient lounge music 24/7.

Ok I must be old (im 28) I don't think you should have too much of a romantic evening you might give him the wrong impretion ,Do you know what i mean,Go bowling or to a movie, meet some friends at the mall.

honestly, a sixteen yr old boy might like something a little less in your face, (meaning all the romance, pressure). I6 yr old guys are a lot more simple and easy to please than a lot of girls think.
Basically, just make him a nice, simple dish (like something you know he likes, don't try something new, or something he's never heard of, cuz he won't like it). Also, music wise, play whatever music he likes (unless all he likes is headbanging stuff, lol), softly in the background, create a nice, comfy atmosphere, and make sure u give him attention and he'll think it's the best date and will appreiciate you for it, for not making a huge deal out of it.

depends on what kind of music you like i mean brian mcknight is romantic luther vandross marvin gaye patti labelle but if i were you i would go with brian mcknight that's when things really get heated
