I currently have pneumonia and could this kerosene heater may have started it and could it be preventing me from getting better?

I have had asthma all my life and generally with any kind of fumes it tends to get worse. You would probably do better with a medicated humidifier (Vick's Vapor Plugs work and you dont have to buy the entire humidifier). The kerosene heater didnt cause the pnuemonia.but it could be the cause of it not getting better.

im not sure if its making it worse... but u should consider some type of electric heater.. kerosene heaters give off fumes that can be harmful... better to you a electric ceramic, oil, or fan heater.

Sure. I thought this was common knowledge. You are putting particulate matter in the air right where you are breathing, not to mention drying out the air.
