My friend got chlamydia for 2 years before getting treated and now a year has past and she's afraid that she can't have children in the future and she's only in her 20s. She doesn't know where to find information with her problem.

Absolutely!!!! Any STD left untreated for extended periods of time can cause infertility. Obviously she's been treated already, if she knows it's chlamydia, so she should go back to the same physician and ask for more information to this quandry.
She can also go to the Mayo Clinic web site, if you type it into the search engine, it will pull up good information. Also, Web MD sometimes has helpful suggestions.
I'm glad she finally got it taken care of.

yes clamydia if left untreated can cause infertility. If she's concerned by the damage that may have been done, she should see her doctor and possibly a fertility specialist.
