my fiance is in CassadagaJobCorpsAcademy he started having heart promlems spring of 2006 while in CJCA and the health&wellness doctors threaten him that if he catches another attack he wil be medically terminated. is that right, he is almost completed and he can't control these attacks when he gets them.
what can he do?

They train them in a chain of command fashion...there are responsibilities with his job and he needs to get the situation evaluated so he can do his job to the best of his abilities...He needs to take this situation to legal council and find the options of treatment...threatening a person with their job is no achievement goal...it is job harrassment

Well, every company is different regarding there sick leave policies. You don't say how long he is out with each "attack." He needs to get this treated. You don't "catch" a heart problem.

People with certain medical conditions can't do certain jobs. If the company can prove that his medical condition will effect his job then yes they can terminate him. If he can prove that it won't effect his job then he can fight the termination.

Yup sounds like the laywer/insurance compay crap.

If you get sick your fired so you won't be covered by health ins.
ergo they don't have to pay


I thought that this was fixed a few years ago
