lmao... I'm from Hawaii, and I know how cheesy "Hawaiian-themed" parties can get. For starters, Don Ho only had one hit, "Tiny Bubbles". Honestly, I think the rest of his music is crap. Umm... Might be cliched, but I think Keali`i Reichel appeals to everyone if you're looking for that traditional modern sound. Israel Kamakawiwoole is also popular, and Jack Johnson! Makaha Sons, Ekolu, Cazamero Brothers, and Jake Shimabukuro are local favorites. If you want something like Sublime, many of us like Reggae music in general, like Bob Marley. Good luck, and Happy Advance Birthday (Hau`oli la Hanau!)

RE:
What are some good songs for a Hawaiian-themed birthday party?

Go with some tunes by Jimmy Buffet, and maybe also some Bob Marley, Shaggy, Sean Paul
Also--are you going to be inside? Do you have music channels with your cable package? There is probably a fiesta channel or something.
