There are many types of Mediterranean breads, each of them with its own name. If you are thinking of the pocket bread, it is called, "Pita." If you are thinking of the flat bread which, when moistened, is rolled up with fillings, then cut into circular sandwich slices, the bread is called, "Lavosh." You will also find that sometimes the same bread will have a different name, depending upon the country/region where it is prepared.
