Carbs from complex sources are good carbs, permitted you consume them in moderation.
Potatoes, carrots, and corn are stachy veggies, and are "good" carbs despite what some of those psycho all protein diets tell you.
Carbs from heavier fruits like apples, pears, and bananas are "good" too, because you are consuming a great deal of fiber along with the other nutrients.
Don't fear carbs. Eat them. Just avoid refined crap and fast food, and you can have your carbs, and eat them too!

Carbs that come from whole foods. A slice of whole wheat bread is a good carb but a slice of white bread is a bad carb.
A piece of fruit is good, but candy is bad
If it's refined, don't eat it. Human beings NEED carbs. People who go on low carb diets most likely will get ill and once they stop, the weight returns.

anything with whole grains like bread or pasta. Bad carbs are like cake. Basically avoid the grains that you know that arent good for you anyways.
