If you had to chose the 10 most representative dishes of international food, what would they be?

Oh, good thread! Hard to think of specific dishes...

My 10 would be:

1) Falafel
2) Peking duck
3) Coq au vin
4) Goulash
5) Tandoori chicken (or tikka masala)
6) Sushi
7) Tacos
8) Paella
9) Fish and chips
10) Hamburger and fries (or poutine for us Canadians)

We always enjoy our "Bardy Grub & wild prune Porridge" ... We always insist sharing this traditional Aussie delight with all the friendly visitors from various churches , that used to call by on their promotional visits.... yum yum :)))
