Even the study base their consequences on exams that folk are not specific of. the priority is that in simple terms some HIV exams certainly seem for the virus itself. instead very nearly all seem for immune gadget markers. the priority with doing this in a newborn is that newborns have immune gadget markers that are corresponding to the mummy's at beginning for the 1st few months. finding out a newborn for such markers is the way you tell if a mom has a disease, not the way you tell if a disease transfers to the toddler.

Usually they would have checked you for HIV during your first visits to the OB doctor. But if you're wanting to be tested, i would simply just ask them. They will take any extra tests that you want them to, after all you're the one paying for it.

they should have tested you when they did all of the other screenings when you went in for a prenatal checkup. That's how my doctor did.
