It depends on who will be in the Super Bowl. If say New Orleans makes it - go with gumbo, jambalaya, shrimp creole;
Chicago = pizza, bratwurst, meat in general
Philadelphia = cheesesteaks;
Seattle = little tea sandwiches, sushi, a really nice salmon quiche, and lattes.....
Baltimore = crab cakes or something crabby
New England = Clam Chowder
San Diego = Carne Asada Burritos, Fish Tacos
Indianapolis = jello and white bread

Good luck

My Ex and I had a few Superbowl parties,

We made sweet Italian sausage sandwiches on fresh rolls from the bakery. Set out the crock pot full of sausages in prego sauce. Laid out various cheeses sliced. Some pickles, olives, carrot & cellery sticks and ranch dip. If you want to go all out then add pepperoncinis and or jalapenos. Good for the nachos too.

We put out liter soda bottles with an ice bucket and glasses.

Everyone raved about the menu and had a great time.
It was a real no fuss sort of menu.

Of course a Superbowl cake to really top it off with ice cream and coffee.

All very easy for you so that you can enjoy the game. Get plenty the guys will pig out on sausage sandwiches.

I am origionally from Green Bay WI and could tell you how to make a great brat boil which I have done for super bowl parties in the past.

Simmer 10 brats in beer and chopped onion for 20 minutes before grilling. Since the brats are pre-cooked during the simmering stage the purpose of the grilling is to merely brown the brats and to add smoke flavor.

When the brats are taken off the grill hold them in a "batter" until ready to eat. This is great because you don't have to eat them right away, and people can just help themselves to them in the kitchen. I also pregrill burgers and throw them in the pot with the brats and batter and they are awesome. The brats and burgers will hold on the stove for hours! This is so easy and you can do it all ahead of time and enjoy your party instead of cooking!

Beer Brat Batter:
Note: do NOT use the beer and onion you used to simmer the brats before grilling! Use fresh stuff!
for 10 brats use 3 bottles or cans of beer
1 large onion, chopped
1 stick (or more!) butter
mix ingredients and bring to a simmer. Hold grilled brats in batter until ready to eat. Do not let sauce boil.

Make some root beer crock pot baked beans for a side with some chips and you are set. Have a few dips also.
KISS (keep it simple sister- you don't have to do a bunch of Martha S. stuff. It's a football game!)

I just got this recipe and it's perfect for superbowl!

Buffalo Wing Dip

1 8oz package cream cheese
1/2 cup wing sauce
1/2 cup ranch dressing
1 large can chicken (like the cans tuna comes in but the large chicken cans usually used for chicken salad)
1 cup shredded cheese

spread the cream cheese into the bottom of a baking dish
mix the wing sauce ranch dressing and chicken together and then spread on top of the cream cheese.
Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of that.
Bake in the oven at 400 degrees for about 20 min and serve with tortilla chips!

My husband makes a killer chili on the stove, and Swedish meatballs in the crockpot. I make a pretty darn good nacho platter that goes under the broiler. The last party we had we had hummus and chips, and bread bowl dips with bread cubes, and a meat and cheese platter, and an antipasto platter.

This is great served with a variety of crackers:

Taco dip, 16 oz cream cheese w/ 16 oz sour cream w/ 2 packets of taco seasoning, mix well spread on platter or cookie sheet, top w/ shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, sliced black olives, and diced tomatoes[add tomatoes just before serving or dip will get soupy] serve with tortilla chips.

chili cup, take refrigerator biscuits press in a greased cupcake pan, put small spoonful of chili in center, bake 350 degrees until golden brown you can melt cheese on top if you like.
