For me, soda in a bottle tastes better and is less flat, tho it has to be a certain bottle. for awhile, coke had a 20 oz bottle and a 1.5 litre bottle, each made from a different plastic. Everyone would make fun when I'd ask them to be sure not to pick up to 1.5, until finally someone else tried one and said - whoa, this is awful. I notice coke has dropped the 1.5, at least near us.
I think soda usually tastes best of all in glass.

Nothing beats soda from a cold glass bottle. IMHO, the soda tastes the same whether it's from a can or plastic bottle.

I also agree with the glass bottle. I know where I live we can buy a 6 pack of glass coca cola & sprite at the grocery, although I have never seen any other brand. I like the can. It seems to me that in the plastic bottle the drink gets hot to quick. I can't stand drinks out of a 2 liter either.

I prefer glass bottles. The taste and properties of the soda are better kept in glass containers, not mentioning it cools better than plastic containers.

I like it better from a glass bottle, but not many make it that way anymore. I prefer the can to the plastic bottle.

It taste best in a glass bottle but is very hard to find.
I drink mine in a can - it has more fizz to me. Plastic bottles taste like plastic bottles & flat.

In a bottle absolutely. Cans a good, but i think if its out of the bottle, there is more of a original and classic feel to it. Just my humble opinion.

I'm weird and like flat soft drinks and it's easier to get rid of the fizz in bottles by opening and closing them repeatedly... you can't do that with cans so bottles is better!

IMHO, soda is just soda to me, but I like a can. It's smaller, so I can keep some in my back pack if I'm biking over to a friend's house.
