China is a very big country. It's like asking if you like European or Asian cuisine. In the north of China they prefer noodles to rice, in the west, let's say Szechuan, the food is spicy, and in the south, Canton, the food is mild and normally served with rice.
Dishes from India are also very varied. In the north you might get a pillau flavoured with nuts and raisins, and they eat more bread. The further south you go, the food will be hotter and more likely to be vegetarian.
My point is that there should be no global idea of Chinese or Indian cuisine.
Think of Europe. In Scandinavia they eat pickled herrings, in Italy they eat osso bucco and pasta, in Greece they eat gyros and sashlik, in Paris they eat oysters and in Marseille they eat anchovies and olives.
I cook Indian style food from every corner of the sub-continent and Chinese food from Beijing, Sinkiang down to Guandong. Love it all and so do my guests. (I rarely cook English style).

Love both - but prefer Indian. More care taken over the preparation, the spices are more flexible and tasty, naan is the best bread ever, the best chillies (nagas) come from India, and mushroom pilau runs a close first place to singapore rice.
Vindaloo, phal, madras, bombay potatos, lentils and coriander - what else can i say ?
