Bit of a goth, are we?
Although I've never heard of a report of anyone contracting AIDS by drinking infected blood, there is a possibility in any contact with the virus that it can be spread. There are also many other diseases that can be transmitted via blood that you put yourself at risk for by drinking blood.
First off, it's not a great idea to drink other people's blood. But if you're dead set on it, use this as a rule of thumb, if you think that it's not a person who it would be safe to have unprotected sex with, then you shouldn't be drinking blood from him either.

Sure thing - that's why there are not many vampires around anymore!
Now Dracula has to ask his potential victims for a HIV test older than 6 months - because he knows that from the moment of infection the ultra clever virus hides itself (much he does himself from the light of day) for several months.
So it is ill advised to drink anyones' blood unless you are a mosquito whose life span is short enough that HIV infection doesn't bother it.

yes, drinking blood allows it to enter the mucous membranes in your body. the hiv virus doesn't survive long outside the body like in semen, but if it is blood the blood will still provide the virus with enough nutrients to live so you could still get it. on a serious note why would you drink blood-just curious

Vampires do not get aids ,if you have an open wound and infected blood is mixed than yes.but if aids gets transmitted analy then why not the other way round as well by absobsion in the stomach ,although in principle the stomac acids are suposed to kill it ,but who in his right mind would want to take the chance.

Probably not-your stomach acid would kill the viruses. However if you were bleeding from the mouth then I guess it could happen. Best not to drink blood in any case.
