Tell her because you don't want other innocent people to get it. Not only will the men she sleeps with get it, but the women they sleep with. You'll sleep better at night knowing you did the right thing.

You don't have to do either.

In most places, your doctor is obligated by law to report any STD's to the public health department. If you were asked about sexual contacts, it's because that information also has to be reported, and the public health department will contact your ex. So, call your public health department and ask if this is the case. Or talk to your doctor and ask if this is the case. If so, you don't need to contact her at all. If not, you owe it to her and to her future partners to tell her.

You HAVE to tell her. Syphillis can kill you if it's not treated. She may be a skank but you've got to do the right thing.

I know you would love not to tell her but....think in the other guys that doesn't have any fault at all... For EVERYBODY sake tell her so she can do whatever is necessary to not spread it around. That's why the STDs will never stop spreading around....be smart and forget about the revenge of satisfaction of not telling her.

Tell her. Think of all the guys she may do this to just like she did you. Plus This can be a very serious disease that can affect the brain if it goes to far

You need to tell her even if you don't want to. You leave the field wide open for a lot of other people to get the same disease. You don't want to be responsible for that now do you?

I'm a nurse. I'm so sorry this happened to you. I hope you can find it in your heart to move on with your life and forgive her. I think you should do only what is best for you and only you. Do what you truly feel in your heart to do. I hope things get better for you, take care.

Yes, you need to tell her.

She needs to tell whoever else has been dipping his salami in her sea of stagnant spirochetes. She can't do that if she doesn't know.
