where is the best place for treatment? I have looked at several hospitals online, but who is the best. Money is no object, just the best care for my child. Even if outside of the United States.

I think the left side of the heart is too small or something. Don't know if a transplant or fix is nessessary but Texas Childrens Hospital in Houston is joined with the Texas Heart Institute and they have the best Neonatal ICU and do heart surgeries and transplants routinely on babies in and right out of the uterus. It is in the Texas Medical Center. I'm sure you can google Texas Childrens Hospital and find out more.

I'm not sure that any one place is the best. You need to find a hospital that manages these types of patients routinely - studies have shown that patients have better outcomes when they work with a doctor/team of doctors who have dealt with their particular illness many times before. If I were you, I'd look for a University associated (medical school affiliated) children's hospital in your area. If you're in Indiana, look at James Whitcomb Riley Children's Hospital or University of Chicago. Good luck to you and your family.

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota for starters. I have no idea where you are from, but if travel is not a problem, Women's Hospital at the University of Michigan could offer some answers.
