I had the hep b vaccine and I had antibodies to the virus, with a negative antigen which my doctor said is due to my immunity not to an infection. But I want my boyfriend to get a test just to make sure I am not constantly exposing myself to the hep b virus even though i've been vaccinated. I don't know if he has it, he doesnt have any symptoms but it would make me feel a lot better. I think he's going to get really offended if I ask him. what can I say so it won't offend him of why i want him to get tested. Please help. Also he doesnt have health ins. does anyone know how much it costs to get a hep b test done?

If you two love eachother enough to be having sex there should be no problem with offending eachother.

simply explain to him exactly how you explained it and tell him he needs to be tested just to be sure he is not infected.

good luck
p.s. do not know how much testing is.
