What are your favorite ethnic foods?

I'm partial to Ethiopian, anything Thai, authentic Mexican, Georgian, Greek, Polish for comfort food, Southern BBQ, Malayasian, French and anything home cooked by real Italians.

Thai, any stir fry with cocunut milk and curry
Sushi & Sashimi
Itailian, spaghetti, manicotti, tiramisu
Tamales, enchiladas, pico gayo (don't think that is spelled correctly).
Szechuan anything
Hot & Sour soup
Polish Kielbasa, pierogies, kasha, mmmm

If it walks, crawls, swims, jumps and anything edible that can be dug up from the ground, cook it beautifully and flavor-fully and I am there.

Anyway, I am very partial to French, Southern Italian, REAL Mexican, AUTHENTIC Chinese and any cuisine influenced by Africa and Moorish Spain.

South Indian Food- masala dosa, sambar, upma

Italian- osso buco

Ethiopian Food - most of the basic stews are fantastic

Vietnamese - pho with flank and brisket, com tam' (broken rice)

Korean - soon tofu (tofu stew), bbq kalbi (short ribs)

Japanese - salmon nigiri roll, salmon skin roll

Mexican - huitlacoche, posole

Chinese - jook (porridge), steamed fish with ginger and scallions, ma po tofu

Thai - Tom Ka Gai (Thai Soup with chicken and coconut milk)
