make it easy on yourself and order some sandwhich roll-ups from the deli, some chips & a few dips. Costco has pleanty of these pre-made party foods. Then you just have to pick it all up and put it out on the table.

One of my favorite appetizers is:
Bacon Wrapped Dates
INGREDIENTS
1 pound sliced bacon, cut in half
1 pound pitted dates
4 ounces blue cheese
DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Slice dates in half, and open them up. Pinch off pieces of blue cheese, and place them into the center of the dates. Close the halves of the dates, and wrap a half-slice of bacon around the outside. Secure each one with a toothpick. Arrange in a baking dish or on a baking sheet with sides to catch any grease.
Bake for 30 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the bacon is crisp. Turn dates over after the first 20 minutes for even cooking.
The sweet, salty and creamy combination is out of this world and soooooo easy!

While the kids jump in the jumpy... slice some baguette bread, top with a little olive oil and toast in oven until slightly browned. Top with Gorgonzola cheese and a drizzle of honey. Place back into the oven until melted. Pair with a glass of Chenin Blanc wine (it's not a pricey wine - but good).
Enjoy!

little smokeys in bbq sauce, with a tooth pick.
also, get a package of cream cheese and add minced onions and green or black olives to it. Mix all that together and spread it on a soft tortilla shell. Roll the shell long ways and put into the fridge until cool. then get it out and slice it like a pinwheel. They are soooooo yummmmmm

Order a lovely antipasto platter from your local Italian deli. Supplement with some exotic crackers. You'll be the hit of the event.

I like to take those little smokies and put them in a crock pot with BBQ sauce and let it simmer. I also like to make Buffalo wings. Fondu is fun and yummy, Brushetta, is good too. Have fun and good luck :)
