I like the "Spanglish" Sandwich. It's basically a BLT only kicked up a notch.

Here's the recipe:

Ingredients:
3-4 slices of bacon
2 slices of Monterey Jack cheese
2 slices of toasted rustic country loaf (pain de campagne)
1 tbsp of mayo
4 tomato slices
2 leaves lettuce
1 egg

Fry the bacon until lightly crisp. Fry the egg over easy, making sure you don't break the yolk . Lightly toast the bread, and slather on the mayo. Build the sandwich starting with the bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and the egg. Cut the sandwich down the middle, and let the yolk flow!!!! Serve with a light beer, or Coke.

I love a grilled cheese on squishy white bread and American cheese...or ham, cucumber, mayo...or mostly any kind of sandwich, to be honest.

My favorite is ham with thin slices of cheddar, two layers of lettuce, thick slices of ripe tomatoes, sweet pickels, brown mustard, and a little mayo.

If it's not falafel, I really like chicken breast mixed with chopped celery, slivered almonds, cut up red grapes, mayo, and salt and pepper. It's yummy!

blt.

if you cook the bacon yourself, and get that nice grade-a very thick-sliced bacon, with a little lettuce and tomato, on lightly toasted and buttered sourdough... mmm, the best.
