Alot of people are vegetarians for different reasons. Some because health, other because they just dont like the fact of eating animals. If you want more answers google it. =P
And by the way, I used to be a vegetarian for 4 years. You can search on the internet for a vegan food store. There should be one in your area.

I've been a vegetarian for 12 years.
Ideas for food..hmm..where to start...
Morningstar makes some good veggie food. You can find it in the frozen foods section at Wal-Mart. There are burgers, veggie dogs, corn dogs, chicken strips, chicken patties, steak strips, crumbles, wraps, chicken nuggets..and other good foods. You can use the crumbles as a substitute for hamburger. Check them out!!
I really like pasta dishes---spaghetti, fettuccine Alfredo, eggplant Parmesan. Just get creative!!
I also love burgers---veggie burgers, garden burgers, black bean burgers, portobello mushroom burgers.
There are soooo many vegetarian dishes. Just look for recipes online and start experimenting! You'll find many that you love!âº

Here are some ideas for you:
Bean burritos -- heat flour tortillas in the microwave for a few seconds. Spread with vegetarian refried beans, chopped tomato, shredded lettuce, diced onion, and shredded cheese. Roll up and serve with salsa, if desired.
Vegetarian lasagna -- instead of meat, substitute sauteed zuchini and eggplant in your favorite recipe.
Stir fry -- stir fry brocolli, strips of red pepper, sliced mushrooms, and thinly sliced carrots. When the veggies are crisp-tender, add cubed firm tofu and Thai peanut sauce. Heat through and serve over rice or noodles.
Great Northern beans -- Add chopped onion and a little minced garlic to a can or jar of Northern beans, and serve with cornbread.
Vegetarian chili -- omit the meat from your favorite chili recipe and substitute more beans or soy crumbles.
Pizza -- storebought crust, meatless pizza sauce, mushrooms, green and red peppers, sundried tomatoes, shredded cheese.
Salads -- Experiment with different salad greens and veggie combinations. Try marinating veggies like cauliflower, peppers, zuchini, and mushrooms in oil and vinegar dressing, then serve over a bed of lettuce.
Also, invest in a good vegetarian cookbook like Mollie Katzen's "Moosewood" cookbooks. The recipes are great!

yesterdayI ate (just to help you out)...
B: 1/2 ww bagel w/ Peanut butter, apple, milk
L: falafel sandwich on ww wrap, greens
chai latte
D: banana and PB sand on ww, apple, steamed broccoli, milk
this supplied all my nutrients for the day and gave me decent amounts of protein and iron
It's fun, there's plenty of stuff to eat
For lunch I usually mix ww pasta, sauce, and veggies together to make a pasta stir-fry and it's really good
Why do ppl who are not vegetarian assume that there is nothing to eat when you exculde meat!? This is ridiculous
All you have to do is take out the meat part of your diet and substitute it with something else... like if you have a chicken slad/sandwich, make it a chickpea salad or a veggie sandwich, etc.

Ive been a vegetarian for about three years now and there are lots of options if you ge creative. Firt you could make your typical non vegetarian recipes substituting tou or "synthetic" meats(also made of tofu or vegetbles). Spinach and broccoli also make good substitutes for meat as they contain a lot of iron and calcium. I would also reccomend lots of lentils, chick peas and legumes(beans and peas) as they contin tons of protien and fibre and are very healhy but will still fil you up.

You can eat anything that does not contain anything from a dead animal. It's pretty easy. I eat vegetarian versions of almost everything including pasta, rices, veggies, beans and all the combos you can think of.

yes. Try just substituting what meat you used to eat with veggies. Like instead of burgers, veggie burgers, instead of mince in spaghetti bolognase use vegetables with the sauce. Make sure you eat a lot of potatoes though, good for protein, and my mum makes me eat a lot of spinach for iron.
