If you were aware you had it and willingly passed it on, yes you could be charged.

I got identified with herpes simplex virus (type 2) about five years ago, when I was still attending college and had a foolish one-night stand. I understand a lot of girls say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and all of a sudden I felt like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. After all, who wants to go out with a girl that has sores around her "you know what" area? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/BAY2p everything improved.
Not only was I able to clear away all traces of the herpes simplex virus from my system in less than 3 weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just last week, in front of everybody in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This program provided the chance to be happy and experience real love again. Now I want to help others by sharing this story.

You can be charged and prosecuted if you sleep with other people KNOWING you have herpes and failing to disclose this info to that them. You should also be careful since some people will still take a chance even if you tell them. Then they can lie and press charges saying you never told them. Unless you have witnesses, it's their word against yours.

Yes, if you've been sleeping with people without telling them you have herpes and using protection, you can be prosecuted. It's a crime, and it should be. There is no cure for herpes, so you injure others when you spread it to them.

No, that's kind of crazy. And besides, everyone who ever had chickenpox technically "has herpes," it's just latent in some and active in others. It's just a different kind.

if you intentionally sleep with some one unprotected knowing that you had the virus with the intention of passing on the disease i think that would be classes as ABH or GBH or something maybe, like they would if they had AIDS or HIV.
