A kebab sounds nice. I might go to the Greek place down the street and get a Lamb Kabob.

Soup, sandwich and a few chips on the side. A meal that will keep you full and going up to dinner time.

How about a nice turkey sandwich with mustard, mayonnaise, and cranberry sauce on freshly baked light soughdough rye bread with lettuce, tomato and alfalfa sprouts. Maybe some chips on the side.
Come on over, I'll make it for lunch.

If it is summer there, I would suggest you to have Sandwich + mix berries smoothy + a big glass of iced water.
If it is winter there, I would suggest you to have pizza (lot of cheese) + vegetables soup + a cup of hot chocolate
Bon appetite

Kebab? If it was 1am and you'd had a skinful, I might suggest that. But at lunch, perhaps you should pop out and get a baguette.

Why don't you prepare some steaming rice, boiled potatoes stir-fried, and add some fresh green peas boiled, sprinkle salt, garam masala on it, and thick, plain lentil, to eat the rice with, garnished with coriander leaves, and yogurt to enhance the taste of this menu.
preserve the tin for the dinner , to have it with some bread, and egg curry ?

If those are your choices, then I would suggest a healthy sandwich with a few chips on the side.

None of them. Go to your local bakery at lunch time and get a nice pasty. If you can, get a hot one. Nothing beats a hot pasty on a cold day.
