after two hours your blood sugar should be back down in the normal range (which is about 70-100).

there is actually a test that the lab does (called a 2-hour post-prandial glucose) where they draw a fasting glucose level (70-100) and then tell you to go eat a big meal and then come back two hours later and test your blood sugar which should be normal (or close to normal).

so in your question if your glucose started out at 95 then ate and two hours later it was 100. that sounds normal. but if you're really concerned i would talk to a doctor and maybe have a glucose challenge test done

WOW, I would consider 100 to be OUTSTANDING.

Here is what my Doctor and medical folks want from me.

If my BS gets below 80 they want me to eat 5 to 10 grams of fast acting sugar. Orange juice or something of the like.

They want my BS to be 120 or lower before I eat.

At 2 hours after eating they want my BS to be 180 or less.

That is how I try to live my life, and it ain't a damn bit of fun.

your blood sugar should be stable and with small variation..as long as you eat healthy food diet, if you eat junk and fast releasing carbs your blood sugar level can jump up and down like crazy! to help control the blood sugar eat only slow releasing carbs like brown rice ,quinoa, oats also lentils, beans etc. lots of vegetables will help. When you eat fruits have with them raw nuts or seeds so they will keep the blood sugar at one level. and also you can supplement a good multi vit and mineral complex with chromium 200mg to help you keep it in balance.
