Are there good bacteria living in healthy sinuses? What kind?

every part of your body contains some bacteria. not all bacteria is bad.

Some, it's gross but that's what boogers are made from. You have everything from bacteria, to dirt, and even insect body parts all up in there. They say that the only reason some bacteria is there in our body, is so more harmful bacteria can't occupy the same area.

the answer is yes..
the nose, the mouth, the skin, the intestine and the vagina in women contain a certain amount of bacteria called "Normal Flora".. the kind of bacteria differes in each cavity and it's purposes vary: from digestion in intestine to protection over the skin from more harmful bacteria.
in nasal cavity the normal flora contains usually Staphylococcus aureus and Corynebacterium sp.

Yes. Mucus IS bacteria, it protects the soft cartilidge walls of your nose from harmful bacteria you breathe in from the air.
