I have been having chect pains off and on...more on then off, for the last 3-4 days. The pain goes down my right arm and under my armpit. It scares me but I figured if it was real serious I would have dropped over by now. Has any one else ever had this happen to them?

I meant down left arm not right...dont even know my rights from lefts no more.

I'm a nurse. This could be a life threatening situation. Any heart pain isn't good. You need to see a doctor right away, it sounds like something to worry about. If you ignore the pain, it could have been the warning sign before something else (worse happens). Don't wait see a doctor.

Without knowing how old you are, etc. etc. I'd say go to a ER to have it checked out. If not that, then you doctor. But, if you have any risk factors in your family, your personal life, and are having pain as you described, you should go to an ER now. That is potentially a life threatening condition.
(Don't want to scare you) I had something similar when I was 23 or so, my doctor said it was a nerve that was irritated. But, then I was only 23

consult a doctor. heart attacks will give pain to the left side. when the dr says all is "ok". see a qualified massage therapist. there are lots of muscles that can refer pain to other areas.
the dr must check it out to make sure there is nothing serious causing the pain. sitting at a computer for extended periods can give rise to pains like the one you've reported.

i had a heart attack and died last month for about 1 min 48 sec... maybe your having symptoms of a future heart attack OMG!... not get off your cross, use the wood build a bridge and get over it.
now if you'll excuse me i need to go take my medicne... did i mention that im only 17 and ive already been dead?
no really get it checked out.
